PRINCIPAL'S BIOGRAPHY
Ed Buckley is a Senior Executive
with extensive experience in a number of industries. He has produced outstanding results through strategic vision, organizational
development, leadership skills, communications and consistent execution. Ed is an expert in facilitating communication, interpersonal
skills, decisiveness and negotiating for all levels of management.
Ed is the owner of J.E. Buckley Associates, a company
he founded to provide assistance to individuals and organizations that are seeking to develop the skills associated with Leadership
and Management essential to today's workplace. Working with management and staff at all levels of an organization, Ed has
facilitated the development of strategic and business plans, implemented mechanisms to improve cycle time and internal communications,
participated in numerous mergers and acquisitions, and has groomed managers, supervisors, and leaders for their new and diverse
roles.
Ed has extensive experience as a Vice President for Fortune 500 Companies that provide planning, consulting,
mechanical and electrical construction and facilities services. The most recent affiliation has been with an organization
that is made up of over 75 operating companies with more than 140 locations with over 25,000 employees.
Over his career,
Ed has had the opportunity to work in the fields of manufacturing, engineering and construction in power, industrial, chemical,
transportation, retail/distribution, water, wastewater and environmental industries, among others. He has had extensive experience
working with labor organizations such as the construction building trades, AFSCME, CSEA, et al.
In addition, he has
worked with various institutions, health care providers, sales and distribution organizations, government entities, and entrepeneurs
to implement strategy-based processes for continuous interpersonal skill development.
Ed is an active public speaker
on the topics of change, system thinking, effective communication and life balance. He has published articles on continuous
improvement and resolving conflicts among employees, as well as the topic of Management Development Essential to Today's Tight
Labor Market.
Ed graduated from Wheeling Jesuit University in Wheeling, WV with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political
Science.
